The Introduction to Firearms (I.F.) program is designed for individuals ranging from those who have never handled or fired a gun to those who may be returning after a long period without practice. This class is highly recommended prior to enrolling in any Nevada CCW permit course, as the distance and live-fire training will be similar.

This one-hour course provides foundational knowledge of handguns and includes live-fire instruction, allowing participants to safely practice shooting their own firearm. It is especially beneficial for first-time gun owners who are planning to obtain a CCW permit.

The cost of the course is $100, which includes the range fee. Please note that firearms and ammunition are not provided. Participants are required to bring their own firearm. A 9mm handgun may be rented for a fee of $50.00. Eye and ear protection are also required; however, they can be provided if needed.

Please note: This is a one-on-one course between the instructor and the student. Observers are permitted but must remain at a safe distance, adhere strictly to all safety protocols, and may not interfere with the instruction in any way.

REFUND/RE-SCHEDULING POLICY: ZRANGE services are NON-REFUNDABLE. Rescheduling will be permitted if notified 24 hours in advance at no cost. A $40 re-scheduling fee will be incurred for any additional re-scheduling requests.
