ZRANGE is proud to be the first and only certified firearms instruction company in Las Vegas offering exclusively semi-private and private CCW and CCW Renewal courses designed around your schedule.

Ohana — Inspired by the Hawaiian word for “family,” this semi-private training experience is designed for families, friends, coworkers, and groups who want to learn together in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Shooting Stars — A private CCW and CCW Renewal experience designed for individuals seeking the highest level of privacy, flexibility, and personalized instruction, including professionals, executives, and public figures.

Continually Advancing Firearm Education

At ZRANGE, we are committed to continuously developing new training programs and innovative approaches to firearm education. Our specialized courses include:

I.F. — Introduction to Firearms, a foundational course designed for individuals new to firearms or those seeking to build confidence and essential handgun skills.

A.C.T. — Armed Continuous Training, a personalized ongoing training program focused on refining skills, improving confidence, and maintaining proficiency.

S.A.F.E. — Screen Actors Firearms Education, a specialized firearms safety program designed for the entertainment industry, providing actors and production personnel with professional firearm education and safety training.

PROJECT 413 — Coming soon! A safety course which ZRANGE will be offering as a “FREE GROUP or ORGANIZATION CLASS.” This is going to be a live PowerPoint class with both parents and children concerning firearm safety. The main objective is to dispel that lack of knowledge and training will prevent accidental incidents with a firearm at home.

Hello, I’m Cam Oliver, Senior Firearms Instructor at ZRANGE LLC. I have more than 50 years of firearms experience and over 30 years of carrying experience in both law enforcement and as a private citizen.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of firearm safety, responsible ownership, and the importance of proper training. I am a certified firearms instructor through the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), the National Rifle Association (NRA), and U.S. Law Shield (USLS).

While I hold certifications from these respected organizations, ZRANGE does not simply teach a single prescribed curriculum. Instead, our training combines the strongest principles from multiple nationally recognized programs with practical application, real-world experience, and lessons learned through decades of instruction and hands-on firearm experience.

Those of us who choose to own and carry firearms understand the responsibility that comes with that decision. My experiences in law enforcement gave me the opportunity to encounter individuals who posed serious threats to others. Those experiences reinforced the importance of preparation, awareness, and responsible firearm ownership.

I believe strongly in the importance of the Second Amendment and the rights it protects. However, with those rights comes the responsibility to seek proper education, training, and understanding of firearm safety and lawful use.

My goal as a Certified Firearms Instructor is to provide students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to continue their journey as responsible firearm owners. I want every student to leave training with a positive experience, a greater understanding of firearm safety, and the ability to make informed decisions.

At ZRANGE, we chose our motto carefully: “I train not to be a hero, but I refuse to be a victim.”

My hope is that you will never need to use your firearm. The decision to use a firearm is a serious responsibility and should always remain a last resort. Proper training ensures that if that moment ever comes, you are prepared to make safe, responsible, and informed decisions.
